It was a hot day and the air conditioner had not been turned in the room ahead of time, but it cooled off quickly. The continental breakfast didn't meet my expectations, would have liked to have more fresh fruit and fresher bread. But staff was very good at keeping it stocked with what they did have and brewing fresh coffee. I would have liked juice. Overall it was a good experience. I would stay here again.

I requested a first floor room, and received it. I also ask for nonsmoking room and it was granted, however, when I opened the door, the atmosphere smelled of smoke. There are ways to prevent that smell. I did request that my room would not need daily cleaning, just clean towels and clean trash bags. It was just me, and I wanted to sleep late and get ready for the day at my own pace. The cleaning lady honored my request. I did enjoy my stay and the Shakespeare Festival as well.

The ice machine was a distance away from my room. The towels were well worn and thin. This Best Western could use some updating and maintance. I also saw some bugs and flies.
